Show Jumps - Arenas

When it comes to jumps for equestrian arenas, there are several options available to cater to different levels of riders and horses. Here are a few common types of jumps you may find in an equestrian arena:
• Vertical Jumps: These jumps consist of a single pole or rail, which is set up in a vertical position. Vertical jumps can vary in height and are often used to test a horse's ability to clear obstacles cleanly.
• Oxers: An oxer consists of two vertical jumps placed close together. The back jump is set at a higher height than the front jump, creating a spread. This jump challenges the horse to jump with power and lengthen their stride.
• Combination Jumps: Combination jumps involve a series of jumps set up in quick succession, requiring the horse and rider to navigate through them smoothly. Combinations can include a combination of verticals, oxers, or a mix of both.
• Liverpool Jump: A Liverpool jump features a water-filled tray or ditch beneath the jump. It adds an extra level of difficulty and tests the horse's confidence in jumping over water.
• Triple Bars: Triple bars consist of three horizontal rails placed one after another, gradually increasing in height. This jump tests the horse's scope and adjustability over a wide spread.
• Wall Jumps: Wall jumps are solid, decorative obstacles that simulate a solid wall. They are often used in showjumping competitions and add a visual element to the arena.
These are just a few examples, and there are many other types of jumps that can be used in equestrian arenas. It's important to note that the design and setup of jumps should always prioritize the safety of both the horse and rider.
