It typically consists of high-tensile woven wire or welded wire panels with smaller openings that prevent horses from getting their heads, hooves, or legs caught in the fence. 
 
Here are some key features and considerations when it comes to horse netting fencing: 
 
• Safety: Horse netting fencing is designed to minimize the risk of injury to horses. The smaller openings prevent horses from sticking their heads through the fence, reducing the chances of entanglement or escape. 
• Durability: High-tensile woven wire or welded wire panels used in horse netting fencing are typically strong and durable, capable of withstanding the pressure exerted by horses without bending or breaking. 
Height: The fence should be tall enough to prevent horses from attempting to jump over it. A height of 4 to 5 feet (1.2 to 1.5 meters) is generally recommended, although the specific height may depend on the breed and size of horses. 
• Railings or Top Rails: Adding a top rail or electric tape above the horse netting can further deter horses from leaning or attempting to reach over the fence. This enhances the fence's effectiveness and helps prevent damage caused by leaning horses. 
• Ground Clearance: It is essential to consider ground clearance to prevent horses from getting their legs caught or injured. Ensure the bottom of the fence is securely fastened to the ground or buried slightly to prevent horses from pushing or digging underneath. 
• Maintenance: Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the fence. Inspect the fence regularly for any damage, loose wires, or areas where horses may have weakened the fence structure.
